We are excited to have Sharmin De Moss, Program Development Coordinator for Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries, here at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, during both services. At 2 p.m. a special meeting will be held at the church for anybody interested in learning more about opportunities to travel to the border for week-long, hands-on experiences with this ministry. SWGSM was established in 1985, and is located near Los Fresnos, TX. They minister to refugees, asylum seekers and others in need by addressing spiritual and material needs. Working closely with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Church World Services, SWGSM has assisted more than 20,000 refugees begin life anew.
